Last year, Trasmediterranea served 175 cruise ships and 375,000 cruise passengers at the Port of Valencia, representing an increase in passengers (7,000 more than the previous year) despite a decrease in the number of port calls. Trasmediterranea Cruise Services expects to increase these figures this year, given the announcement of new cruise ship calls and the return of others to the port facilities.
To this end, Trasmediterranea has a terminal and maritime station in the Port of Valencia, from where it serves the company's regular maritime traffic with the Balearic Islands as well as the cruise ships that stop at that destination.
At the same time, the company contributes its experience and trained and committed staff to offer a quality service under the umbrella of Cruise Services, whose head, Paula Casais, attended the Fair in Fort Lauderdale.
In the past, this century-old shipping company also crossed the Atlantic. Today, for almost 100 years, it has remained a leading carrier in regular passenger and freight transport on the routes it operates: between the Iberian Peninsula and the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands, and North Africa.
